About the Role

Our client is a federal govt. agency undertaking a broad program of work emphasizing on the modernisation of business capabilities.

The program has the responsibility of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of ICT solutions through the identification and replacement of legacy components and the reduction of technical duplication, complexity, and inefficiency.

As a Procurement Specialist, you will

Effectively, expertly and proactively manage, and establish ICT and other contracts

Draft procedural, governance and procurement documentation

Provide advice and guidance on procurement and contract management in line with the CPRs

Develop effective and collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders

What you'll need for success

Comprehensive experience with and understanding of the CPRs and all relevant additional procurement related policies and legislation

Experience conducting complex end-to-end procurement approaches

Experience drafting complex procurement documentation

Experience in successfully managing risk, including the development of comprehensive risk assessments

Eligibility

This role is open to Australian citizens with the ability to obtain a baseline security clearance.
