We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Support Worker to assist a young boy in Bauple, QLD, who requires support with daily activities and community participation. Your role will involve fostering independence, encouraging engagement in fun and stimulating activities, and providing a safe, supportive environment tailored to his individual needs and interests.
- Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the client's participation in recreational activities such as sports, games, or creative projects.
- Provide support with daily routines, including light household tasks and meal preparation.
- Create a nurturing environment that promotes confidence, independence, and social interaction.
- Assist with transport to school, therapy, or extracurricular activities when required.
- Communicate effectively with the child and their family to ensure alignment with their goals and preferences.
