- About the Role
Reporting to the Director, your job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Producing a set of accounts for a company, trust, partnership including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements
- Preparation and lodgement of company, trust and individual tax returns
- Providing taxation and financial advice for companies, individuals, partnerships, trusts, business structuring
- Setting up of new legal entities for clients
- Providing bookkeeping, payroll and related accounting support where required
- Providing supervision and support to junior members of the team
- Client management
For this role, You must have :
- A strong understanding of accounting practices and applicable legal requirements
- Ability to deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
- High level of attention to detail
- A minimum of 3 years of public practice experience in Australia in a tax role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple clients
- Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
- Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and a wide range of other accounting software packages.
- commenced or completed CA or CPA
