This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney.

As the Production Assistant you will be responsible for keeping the busy production department running smoothly. This fast paced and pivotal role within the team requires a highly intuitive, organised and flexible person who is motivated and capable of thinking on their feet whilst ensuring things run smoothly within the department.

• More specifically, you'll be doing things like this
• Coordinating the delivery of programs
• liaising with Production Company, managing and distributing scripts schedules and relevant materials in pre production, ingesting footage, organising tech checks and updating the TX Schedules.

Supporting Eps through conducting research and gathering relevant materials on multiple projects and proposals upon request with absolute professionalism and confidence

What are we looking for? What's important?

You will have a large amount of personal contact with senior Network Executives and the wider television industry. As a result, this role requires a great deal of confidentiality and discretion.

Ability to be a fast learner, to use your fine-tuned initiative, plan your work effectively and to be able to multi-task and take direction.

You will need to have an exceptionally high level of organisation and be an effective problem solver

A real passion for television and TV production

Highly personable and have excellent communication and computer skills.

Outstanding attention to detail and a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
