The business, operating out of Roe Hwy Logistics Estate in Kenwick, has a distribution model focusing on full load road transport services. We offer a variety of different service offerings to our clients including Express Linehaul, Wharf Cartage, Mining Services, Metro PUD and Waste Haulage.
- Key skills and attributes
- Solutions and results driven, including limiting cost and driving revenue for the division.
- Liaise and deal with key customers, and ensure at all times that they are receiving exceptional customer service, and we are exceeding all expectations
- Plan, organise and manage the daily routine of all quad axle trailers operating out of Perth and Pocket trains in our of regional areas.
- Oversee the daily transport requirements at the transfer station at Perth of various transfer stations throughout the metro area and some regional locations
- Recruit, train and manage workers associated to the Waste team
- Display and distribute routes to all team members, including the dispatch, routing and tracking of vehicles.
- Stock take of Efficiently plan trucks, trailers and drivers on daily basis to ensure we have the equipment to action schedule work and ability to forecast and ensure service and repair work is conducted in a timely manner,
- Investigation of safety breaches and reporting in regards to incidents and damages.
- Ensure contemporary information is available for drivers in vehicles, e.g. permits, fatigue laws, contact list etc.
- High attention to detail
- Heavy safety focus and commitment to safe work practices.
- Proven track record in managing and developing teams.
- Transport Industry experience essential
- Licences
- MC Drivers Licence (Preferred not essential) must hold valid WA driver's license
