As a private home and community support worker for the elderly, and adults living with a disability, your role will be crucial in ensuring our client's well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Working in our clients' homes and local community, and depending on your experience and qualifications, your primary duties may include :
No prior caregiving experience is required; we will provide comprehensive training.
Qualifications are not necessary; however, a caring and empathetic nature is essential. (Cert 3 in Aged / Disability / Community is required to undertake personal care activities)
Compassion and patience to provide the highest level of care and support to the elderly and people living with a disability.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with the client and their family members.
Physical stamina to meet the demands of the role, which may include assisting with mobility.
This is a sub-contract role and you will need to hold an ABN.
You will need to gain a National Criminal Check clearance upon commencement.
You will need a reliable and registered Motor Vehicle.
