A Cyber Security organization is seeking a Technical Writer to work in support of various Cyber projects within an integrated workforce.
Indicative duties include, but are not limited to :
- Write Help documentation and system Help features to assist Business users' to successfully complete their tasks and discover value-adding features;
- Work closely with our enterprise product and design teams to design Help that's clear, helpful and solves real customer problems;
- Write or review ICT system design documents and assist technical teams to document system features and designs to ensure quality documentation of ICT systems;
- Contribute to the documentation of features as part of the Agile Release Train.
Key knowledge or experience areas include :
Experience creating online software documentation;Outstanding skills in crafting plain user-centric English where complex concepts are explained clearly and fluently for multiple audiences, andExperience providing guidance on terminology, wording, and language design.Essential criteria
Demonstrated experience creating online software documentation paired with outstanding skills in crafting plain user-centric English combined with :Ability to write to provide explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and fluently.High level of proficiency in MS Office and the Atlassian suite of products (Confluence and Jira).Evidence of delivery of work and outputs in line with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) lifecycle.Highly creative communication and critical-thinking skills with a strong instinct for challenging conventions.Desirable criteria
Significant experience in technical writing within a large, complex environment and an engineering background.Good knowledge across broad array of technology and domains.Note : To be considered for this role you musthave a valid NV1 clearanceJob TypesFull-time, ContractContract length : 24 months
Pay : $80.00 - $100.00 per hour
