- 256087Large Queensland organisation seeking an experienced Network Analyst for an initial 6 month role. This role will be working on the design and establishment of a large project, working with Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and more.
Within this role you will be responsible for :
Developing a plan for the network assessments to be conducted, including all activities to be undertakenConducting a detailed assessment on the current network and hardware in use in nominated locations, including performance and reliability metricsAssessing usage trends and providing diagnostics on peak times, or times when staff have identified poor performance and / or reliability of servicesProducing a detailed report on assessment findings, including assessment against acceptable baselinesIdentifying any specific inefficiencies in network or hardware provisioning and / or configurationIdentifying opportunities at both tactical (short term) and strategic (long term) for improvements tonetwork and / or hardware concerns
Occasional travel for short periods of time to a couple of regional locationsTo be successful in this role you must have :
Experience in designing, implementing, and managing corporate networks and corporate hardware / devicesExperience in assessing or auditing networks and performing network risk assessments, including any bandwidth bottlenecks, and under and over-utilised resourcesExperience in network tools and opportunities to conduct assessments in secure environmentsNetworking skills experience with DNS, TCP / IP, HTTPO, CDN and VPN.Experience with assessing hardware and software to identify any performance issuesExperience in producing detailed network and hardware assessment reports, including full inventory of the current network and hardware / devices within each location.For more information or a confidential discussion, please contact Stephanie Mlady on 3003 7629, or Carrie Watts on 3003 7644 on quoting 256087.
