What is the role?
Applications are sought from suitably qualified applicants wishing to be considered for the role of Team Member - People Centre.
The People Centre is responsible for triaging HR related requests received via the AFP Service Portal, providing an advisory function to employees, and managing matters through to resolution in a timely manner.
The occupant of this position must be able to provide a responsive service, with accurate and consistent information in what is often an extremely high volume environment.
What will you do?
As an AFP Band 4 Team Member, you will contribute to the effective functioning of the People Centre, including any or all of the following activities :
Provide customer centric, consistent and timely responses to customer queries, where solutions are documented in knowledge articles, policy and procedures.
Liaise with corporate service functions in the resolution of customer queries.
Administrative duties such as data entry, processing, and follow-up calls.
Work collaboratively and actively participate as a member of a team
Ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
You will also be required to contribute to the achievement of outcomes in accordance with the regulatory framework, the AFP Code of Conduct and the AFP Governance Instruments. It is expected that the successful applicant will deliver on the core responsibilities and meet any requirements of the position as outlined below.
Essential Requirements
You must be an Australian Citizen.
A Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
Has or the demonstrated ability to learn, the contemporary knowledge relevant to the role
Desirable Requirements
The following skills and / or experience would be highly regarded :
Experience in a high volume processing area
Experience in a customer service or service delivery environment.
Experience in the use of Service Now
