About the Mental Health Service

You will be joining a public mental health service that provides specialised inpatient and community-based care, offering treatment and support to individuals and their families affected by mental health challenges.

The hospital features an acute admission and treatment unit dedicated to adult patients living with severe and complex mental illnesses. A range of inpatient and community-based programs support the delivery of care, including acute inpatient services, residential rehabilitation, crisis intervention, recovery-focused community treatment, and specialist perinatal mental health services for women and infants.

This role involves working in the inpatient psychiatric unit. Success requires extensive experience working with patients experiencing psychosocial mental health needs, and the ability to identify and manage issues like psychosis, anxiety, depression, complex PTSD, and risk factors. A collaborative, compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to patient care is essential.
