Downunder Group Solutions is currently seeking qualified  Diesel Fitters  for a long-term opportunity at Goonyella Riverside Mine. This is a key role within a high-performing maintenance team, supporting site operations across a large fleet of mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on ancillary mining equipment.
• Supporting planned shutdowns, routine servicing, and emergency breakdowns.
• Conducting diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting across engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other systems.
• Implementing preventative maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Performing high-quality field and workshop-based repairs to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements :

• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate (Diesel Fitting or equivalent).
• Current Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, and BMA Core.
• Demonstrated experience with CAT and Komatsu equipment.
• High-level technical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with autonomous haulage systems (advantageous).
• Current Driver’s Licence
