• Duties and Responsibilities
• The Offering

We have an opportunity for a Field Technician / Electronics Technician to join our Site Operations Team working to integrate MaxMine hardware products with our customers' mining vehicles. This role will be based out of our Adelaide Office with expected regional visits to minesites domestically & internationally.

As part of the Site Operations Team your role is to integrate MaxMine hardware with customer mining equipment, this physical connection to the equipment stands as the foundation for our data collection and analysis service. This includes selection of the applicable electronic equipment, selection of MaxMine designed hardware, ongoing fault-finding & troubleshooting, design of new systems & integration plans.

Responsibilities include :

• Liaising with customers and OEMs to develop design requirements
• Delivery of appropriate hardware products
• Mechanical & mechatronic design
• Harness design
• Associated off-the-shelf hardware
• Integrating MaxMine product with vehicle data systems
• Delivery and support of in-house mechanical & mechatronic products
• Traveling to remote sites for design and integration projects
• Delivery of continuous improvement opportunities.

This role provides a real opportunity to learn through direct interaction with end-users and make a real impact with fresh design ideas through first hand experience.

• 2+ years industry experience
• Linux experience highly regarded but not mandatory
• Understanding of vehicle data systems and communication systems highly regarded
• Strong, autonomous fault finding and problem solving skills are advantageous
• Strong customer facing skills and experience
• Excellent communication skills and a love of team driven outcomes
• Attention to detail
• Ability to travel to remote sites in Australia and overseas
• Valid passport and driver's license
