Senior Electrical Engineer Resources (Mining)

Role Overview

We are seeking a technically strong and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to support brownfield mining projects within a well-established WA-based engineering team. This role is hands-on and offers opportunities to lead technical scopes, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to multiple concurrent projects. You will be based in the Perth office with flexibility for hybrid work after onboarding.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in electrical design for brownfield mining or heavy industrial projects
• Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and site compliance requirements
• Proficiency in power system studies using PowerFactory or PTW (highly desirable)
• Familiarity with CDEGS for earthing, lightning protection, and step / touch calculations
• Experience delivering scopes across HV / LV design, protection, instrumentation, and control
• Comfortable working across all phases of project lifecycle including commissioning and shutdowns
• Functional Safety TUV Certification and / or Hazardous Area Accreditation (advantageous)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
