Surf Lifeguards

The Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring guest safety at all times throughout the park, whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.

We are seeking surfers and non-surfers of all genders, ages, backgrounds and abilities. You must have a friendly, upbeat attitude and an efficient, adaptable work ethic.

Working as a Lifeguard at URBNSURF Melbourne is the ideal job to work flexible hours.

• Qualifications

Lifeguards must be able to swim 50 meters in 45 seconds and hold the following valid certificates :

• Pool Lifeguard qualification
• First Aid and CPR

It is preferable for Lifeguards to also hold one of the following :

• OSSCA - Australian Professional Ocean Lifeguard Association
• SLSA - Bronze Medallion
• Surf Rescue Certificate : SLSA Community Award

Successful applicants will be required to hold a :

• Working with Children Check

This lifeguarding role will provide you with experience in a unique aquatic environment and will enable you to expand your skillset into the rapidly emerging surf park industry.

URBNSURF opening hours range from 6am - midnight Monday - Sunday providing various shift options for casual staff. Regular weekend availability is essential.
