Air Freight Export Coordinator

Our client has been in logistics and supply chain management operations for more than 150 years. They are looking for an experienced Air Freight Coordinator to join their expanding team. You will be working as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved in a timely manner.

• Permanent position, on a rotating roster
• Located in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, Queensland

• About the role
• Create and sustain strong relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
• Build business growth by creating sales of new or additional services
• Engage with overseas and local clients on a daily basis, providing status of orders, cost indicators and vessel / aircraft delays.
• Systems to use, SMART, Procars, ICS and others
• Able to handle and solve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Work to tight timelines to ensure customer satifcation
• Communicate with other branches and departments on updates of shipments.
• Friday evening, after hours and weekend work on rotating rosters as required.

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Able to build and maintain strong business relationships.
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Experience in relationship building with clients and internal / external stakeholders
• Proven ability to work towards targets and KPI's
• Previous experience in international freight and logistics
