Procurement Specialist

Job descriptionThe Position Reduce the cost of ownership for materials across the site Sourcing new suppliers locally and globally to deliver best possible outcomes Analyse consumption data to determine replenishment stock orders Create and maintain accurate records of stock usage and consumption Create and maintain a current price list of all items serviced and purchased Create activity reports and delivery schedules Assist creation and implementation of agreed procurement policies Initiate, monitor, and report on controls in manual system processes Prepare and manage requests for purchase proposals Review purchase orders and maintain integrity of data Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary Minimis risk and cost increases through planning and consistent management of suppliers Obtain quotes to ensure best possible price for goods to be acquired Maintain accurate procurement records and supporting documentation 3-5 years' experience in a similar position Demonstrated track record of managing supplier relationships Ability to develop solutions to meet conflicting business outcomes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced Microsoft Excel experience Large ERP exposure preferred Strong relationship skills with the ability to influence others
Excellent Salary - $90-100K + 12% Super + Bonus

Multi-National business, known for their solid reputation, sophistication and commitment to continued success and growth. Reporting to the Procurement Manager this challenging position will focus on the procurement of all consumables and services for the entire site.
This position requires a dynamic individual who has previous Procurement experience in a fast-paced environment. This role will raise purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and maintain a product and supplier database.
