- Operations Manager
- will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of management programs and connecting production staff to their goals, focusing on operational efficiency, quality control, and minimising service failures. You will oversee a range of operations across sites in the Australian resource and energy sector, ensuring that goals are met, standards are maintained, and safety requirements are adhered to.
- Key Responsibilities
- Lead and assist with performance reviews for the operations team members, fostering continuous development and improvement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customer service expectations and contractual agreements are consistently met.
- Oversee daily staff operations to maintain efficiency and uphold quality control across multiple sites.
- Monitor the performance of the work management process to improve operational performance.
- Establish and implement company goals and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Drive production and operational procedures, ensuring they are clear, well-understood, and adhered to by all staff.
- Ensure all health, safety, and regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
- Develop and implement best practices for service management and operations to maximise productivity and quality.
- Manage key operational processes and workflows, ensuring team efficiency and success.
- Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience
- Demonstrated experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of multi-site and multi-service environments within the Australian resource and energy sector. Proven success in driving operational efficiency, quality, and team performance.
- Skills & Competencies
- Human Resources Management (Intermediate)
- Strong understanding of HR processes, including performance reviews and employee development.
- Project Management (Intermediate)
- Experience in managing projects from initiation through to completion.
- SAP (Intermediate)
- Familiarity with SAP for managing operations and workflows.
