• Operations Manager
• will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of management programs and connecting production staff to their goals, focusing on operational efficiency, quality control, and minimising service failures. You will oversee a range of operations across sites in the Australian resource and energy sector, ensuring that goals are met, standards are maintained, and safety requirements are adhered to.
• Key Responsibilities
• Lead and assist with performance reviews for the operations team members, fostering continuous development and improvement.
• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that customer service expectations and contractual agreements are consistently met.
• Oversee daily staff operations to maintain efficiency and uphold quality control across multiple sites.
• Monitor the performance of the work management process to improve operational performance.
• Establish and implement company goals and policies to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Drive production and operational procedures, ensuring they are clear, well-understood, and adhered to by all staff.
• Ensure all health, safety, and regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
• Develop and implement best practices for service management and operations to maximise productivity and quality.
• Manage key operational processes and workflows, ensuring team efficiency and success.
• Qualifications
• Education & Experience
• Education
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience
• Demonstrated experience in operations management, with a strong understanding of multi-site and multi-service environments within the Australian resource and energy sector. Proven success in driving operational efficiency, quality, and team performance.
• Skills & Competencies
• Human Resources Management (Intermediate)
• Strong understanding of HR processes, including performance reviews and employee development.
• Project Management (Intermediate)
• Experience in managing projects from initiation through to completion.
• SAP (Intermediate)
• Familiarity with SAP for managing operations and workflows.
