The duties of an EL1 ICT Manager occupation in Defence include the following :
Accountable under broad direction to perform and achieve complex audit work and require an in-depth knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks and policy requirements.Plan, lead and manage the development, implementation and maintenance of audit and assurance related activities for ERP Program.Manage audit and assurance reporting requirements including internal and external audits and reviews.Interpret, identify and translate audit issues into findings and recommendations for ERP Executives.Implement ongoing improvements to ERP Program's assurance frameworks consistent with policy and reform initiatives.Take the initiative to identify very complex assurance issues and recommend courses of action.Engage with relevant stakeholders on complex and sensitive issues in relation to assurance activities.Ensure clear and consistent evidence is provided to support closure of all findings.Communicate in a clear, concise and articulate manner, while focusing on key points.Review and prepare complex briefing material, correspondence and reports on governance matters.About our TeamERP is a large, multi-year, complex ICT program focused on standardising and integrating Defence's finance, asset management, logistics, estate and human resource processes and systems to drive workforce efficiency and decision making superiority. The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program is seeking an Executive Level 1 (EL1) Audit and Assurance Manager as part of the Program Management Office (PMO).
The Audit and Assurance Manager Role is to understand the business, to provide forward-looking advisory services to management, understand regulations, licenses and standards of practice, engage with stakeholders and perform compliance testing and monitoring and business process monitoring of the adherence to regulatory, license and standard requirements. Recommend, communicate and provide reporting of compliance and initiate remedial actions.
You will be accountable to ensure you have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence's mission and policy requirements.You will exercise a considerable degree of independence and will work independently for the achievement of outcomes of your work. You will be accountable for organising your workflow, leading a team, and be capable of building team capability through coaching, feedback and developing the quality of work.You will be adept in researching and analysing information, probing for clarity, producing solutions, making judgements and have the ability to think systematically.
