• The Role

In this high tempo role you will be responsible for exercising assigned technical authorities and any Seaworthiness Materiel Governance Authority delegations. As the EL 1 Technical Specialist Manager - Configuration, your role plays an integral part in assuring compliance with the Defence Seaworthiness of EWIS-M SPO products.

EWIS-Maritime SPO currently manages a number of electronic warfare systems fitted to both the surface and sub-surface fleet, such as the Nulka Decoy product and various Sensors and Electronic Attack products in both acquisition and sustainment phases.

The EWIS-Maritime SPO delivers these capabilities to both the Australian Defence Force and the United States Navy. EWIS-M SPO is widely dispersed across Australia, with this position based in Russell, ACT.

This role will be part of a team which is working to deliver integrated electronic warfare systems to Navy under a continuous capability development and delivery framework. The successful applicant will participate in an integrated team, including APS, military and contractor staff, to ensure the supported Electronic Warfare capabilities are delivered to the ADF and supported in accordance with operational and compliance requirements, budget, and service agreements.
