The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission (ACIC) is Australia's national criminal intelligence agency. We advise senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. We are a full member of the National Intelligence Community, an Attorney General's Portfolio agency, and a member of the Five Eyes Law Enforcement Group.

The ACIC is at the forefront of tackling serious and organised crime targeting Australia, both within our borders and offshore. The ACIC Intelligence Operations Operating Model is founded around 4 core capability pillars—coercive examinations, technical intelligence capability, human intelligence capability and data analytics capability. These core capabilities are interconnected and inform one another to derive maximum strategic insights to inform disruption strategies and opportunities.

North Operations staff and state-based specialist units work collaboratively with key external partners to affect disruption activities, collect criminal intelligence for dissemination to our partners and ensure the flow of critical information to support the development of strategic intelligence.

This includes contributing to a range of administrative activities, information searches and basic analysis involving the appropriate management of information of a diverse nature across the business, intelligence and operational aspects of the ACIC.

This will encompass the management of facilities, resources, assets, security, exhibits, information, finance, procurement and fleet vehicles.

The Support Officers work closely with operational teams, taskforces, investigators, intelligence practitioners, administrative staff, Executive members and external partner and provider agencies to ensure that office operational outputs are supporting the ACIC.
