About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and committed House Manager to lead one of our residential care homes in Perth (NOR). Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations and create a safe, culturally respectful, and therapeutic environment for young people with complex needs.
This is a hands-on role based primarily on-site, with one day per week at our Leederville office. Some shift work is required, including public holidays and occasional early starts (7 : 30am) and weekends, with applicable penalty rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers
- Ensure the home is emotionally and physically safe, nurturing, and engaging
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Manage care planning, transitions, and stakeholder collaboration
- Roster staff appropriately and respond to crisis situations when needed
- Facilitate team meetings, reflective supervision, and ongoing training
- Keep client records and reports up to date using CIRTS database
About You
Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or similar qualification)Experience supporting young people with trauma and high needsStrong leadership and team management skillsConfident in managing crisis situations and working under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCurrent unrestricted Australian Driver’s LicenceFirst Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)Why Join Us?
