The Opportunity

KBR is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and proactive Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialists to support major Defence programs across Brisbane and Canberra .

This role is ideal for professionals with a deep understanding of enterprise mobility solutions and secure device management frameworks within highly regulated environments. As an MDM Specialist at KBR, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of mobile platforms that enable Defence personnel to operate safely and effectively.

The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to :

• Administer and support enterprise MDM platforms (e.g. Microsoft Intune, MobileIron, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar) across Defence environments.
• Configure, deploy, and manage mobile devices, including security policies, application distribution, and asset tracking.
• Implement and maintain mobile security frameworks to ensure alignment with Defence security policies and the ACSC’s Essential Eight.
• Monitor compliance and performance metrics of mobile devices, providing detailed reporting and remediation recommendations.
• Support integration of MDM systems with identity and access management tools such as Azure AD, MFA, and conditional access.
• Work closely with Defence stakeholders, ICT teams, and cyber specialists to ensure consistent, secure, and scalable mobile device operations.
• Provide technical guidance and user support, including onboarding, troubleshooting, and training where required.
• Stay up to date with evolving mobile technologies, cyber threats, and Defence security standards to ensure the platform remains current and compliant.
