About the role Reporting to the Conservation Program Manager this role supports the delivery of Trust for Nature's key conservation programs including the Covenanting, Stewardship, Offsets, Revolving Fund, and BushBank throughout the North Central catchment. The role will act as a point of contact between Trust for Nature and conservation covenantors and potential landholders in the catchment.
The key focus of the role will be landholder engagement, ecological assessment of areas protected by conservation covenants, discussions with landholders about conservation management techniques and the development of conservation management plans. This is Part-time (0.8 FTE / 4 days) position, with flexible work arrangements available.The contract is Fixed-term until 30 June 2026.
The position offers a prorate base salary range of $55,000 - $61,000 p.a., plus super for 0.80FTE ($69,000 - $76,000 is the full time equivalent). The salary offered will be aligned with the candidates experience.
The role is based out of our Castlemaine office with regular travel throughout North West Victoria. Avalid drivers licence and access to a vehicle are required.
