Health & Safety Coordinator (Mining)

A mix between the companies Perth office and regular travel to site, you will be solely responsible for the safety functions of the companies mining operation across Australia and the go to person for all safety related matters.

Knowledge and experience of safety system implementation and ideas to continually improve and support at site level, as well as a 'boots on the ground' type operator is the type of person this role would be perfect for.

• Continuous improvement and best practises
• Risk assessments
• Incident / accident investigation
• Monitor and aim to reduce LTI and TRIFA stats company wide
• Safety document control
• Safety input into tender process
• Key requirements
• Mining safety leadership experience
• Boots on the ground type operator
• System knowledge - INX & MYOSH preferable
• Comfortable conducting site audits
• Underground mining experience
• Hard rock mining experience
