Maintenance Handyman / Woman

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Time Handyman.

Your role will be focused around preventive maintenance for the 101 rooms hotel that is based in Green Square.

• Duties / Responsibilities
• Preventive maintenance items include bathroom items, such as mirrors, sinks, drains, showers shelves and toilets. In guest rooms; lighting, wardrobes, air conditioning filters, beds, lamps and so forth.
• Assisting with painting when required at each of the properties.
• Ensure of room items that are always functional such as guest room AC's, TV, phones, remote controllers and the guest door locking system.
• Testing items such as hair dryers and irons.
• Ensure that the upkeep of the hotel is maintained.
• Complete all guest requests maintenance log.
• Creating and adhering to contractor schedules

• Has a clear understanding of WH&S practices
• Operates a clean and orderly work area free from hazard's.
• Provides fast and efficient service for maintenance requests
• Can work well un-supervised and in a small team.
