Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician. This position is located at the Kemerton site.

What You Will Do

• Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with site EH&S, community policies, systems and procedures.
• Execute electrical / instrumentation work as per schedule following work instructions as directed by the Team Leader.
• Responding to plant outages and equipment failures in a timely manner to maximize plant availability and safety.
• Ensure work is executed to the highest standard and history is recorded in the relevant maintenance recording system for future reference.
• Initiate creation and updates to work procedures and instructions to ensure they are accurate and effective.
• Reporting of incidents in a timely manner and participate in analysis and investigations as required.
• Build strong relationships with the Operational, Reliability and Planning Teams to support the delivery of quality maintenance and equipment availability.
• Working with our internal / external customers to support feedback and continual improvement programs.
• Support work management processes through efficient defect reporting, adequate scoping of corrective works and accurate confirmation of execution activities.
