Job descriptionRoster : Monday to Friday Tool of Trade Vehicle Residential housing allowance Competitive Port Hedland salary package Permanent job security Local and supportive team environment Delegate tasks to direct reports or subcontractors in line with skill, knowledge and ability and where necessary identify skill gaps and training requirements. Ensure direct or contractor reports comply with Company’s and PPA policies and procedures before work is carried out. Ensure compliance on all Statutory obligations relating to section 5 of the Mine Safety Inspection Regulations and / or relevant Legislative obligations Organise, supervise and / or conduct electrical maintenance work carried out on the Atlas Iron owned Stockyard 2 outload fixed equipment at the Utah Point Facility Ensure all completed electrical work pertaining to Statutory obligations are submitted to PPA for their records Organise and supervise electrical work carried out on the RSS (11 in total), Mobile Plant equipment and Ancillary equipment at the Utah Point Facility. Ensure maintenance information is recorded and retained for future reference and auditing purposes. Minimum of 5 years Electrical maintenance experience in Fixed Plant and Mobile Plant Mining equipment Prior experience in administration of digital maintenance systems Electrical fitter / mechanic trade certificate – “A” Grade WA Endorsed High Voltage ticket - Essential Knowledge and understanding of applicable Commonwealth / State Safety and Environmental legislation and standards Deliver effective electrical decisions to ensure plant reliability and operability Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people Knowledge in using Microsoft Office, Excel and Power point Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment Ability to work well within a small team environment
About the opportunity
The primary purpose of the Electrical Supervisor is to organise / supervise all electrical inspections, maintenance and repairs on QUBE’s Fixed Equipment and Mobile Fleet. This role is to co-ordinate the day to day electrical activities of the Pilbara Ports Authority Utah Point Bulk Handling Facility.
