RecWest Braybrook is a recreation centre and sports complex located in Kinder Smith Reserve, Braybrook, Melbourne. We are a multi-purpose facility that features a spacious four-court stadium used for basketball, futsal, netball, volleyball, and badminton as well as a mirrored dance / fitness studio, and multi-purpose room. We also run a variety of fun programs and activities to suit both adults and children : from basketball and futsal to gymnastics, soccer, and our school holiday sports clinic.
Are you a highly energetic and motivated individual with a passion for sports? We're looking for someone just like you to join our dynamic team at RecWest Braybrook as a Programs Officer and Sports Coach!
In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering a range of programs to our diverse range of customers, including weekly junior sports programs, holiday programs, birthday parties, and disability programs. Your positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team will make you the perfect fit for this position.
Your main responsibilities will include planning, developing, and implementing engaging and inclusive programs, building positive relationships with program participants and their families, maintaining accurate records and reports, and identifying opportunities for program growth and development.
This role is a casual role and the hourly rate is $27.95 + super.
Ideally, you'll have a coaching qualification in a sporting field, experience coordinating and delivering sports programs for diverse populations, strong organizational and planning skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
