ID. Know Yourself is an Aboriginal led not-for-profit that was founded by Isaiah Dawe (CEO) in 2019 who has had firsthand experience growing up in the foster system.
We mentor Aboriginal children in out-of-home care and create a space of love, hope and belonging to #breakthecycle.
Our mentoring program delivers group sessions and mentoring support to Aboriginal children aged 10-18 years old who have been impacted by cultural dispossession, systematic disadvantage, and complex trauma.
THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to provide high level executive support to our Chief Executive Officer. The role is 4 days per week (7.5 hours per day) Monday to Thursday.
This is a hybrid role, working Monday to Wednesday in the office and Thursday from home.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to : inbox and calendar management, Board support, being the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, triaging calls and emails to appropriate contacts, operational coordination of meetings and events and preparing marketing documentation (i.e. brochures, flyers, presentations, sponsorship proposals, reports).

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE : Proven understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal peoples, their culture and communities
Proven experience in high-level administration or executive support
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated professionalism and capability to apply critical thinking, judgement and discretion
High level of organisation and initiative with the capability to think ahead and anticipate as well as prioritising issues and tasks
A team player with the ability to work autonomously exercising sound judgement
Proficiency in Microsoft suite
Up to date to Working with Children Check and national police check
