We are seeking a highly skilled Area Manager to lead our Western Australian home care operations during a time of growth, reform, and national integration.This is a pivotal role, responsible for overseeing the delivery of home care services across WA and alignment with a new national model.
You will play a key role in unifying teams, practice and ways of working, while advocating for local needs with a deep understanding of the WA context.This is a hands-on operational role, responsible for managing dispersed home care teams across regional WA and Perth Metro.
You'll drive high quality care delivery and case management practice, with a strong focus on performance across client experience, employee engagement, clinical indicators, and service growth.
Success in this role requires the skills to deliver effective, safe and person-centred home care services, alongside a commercial mindset to drive service sustainability.The role requires regular travel between the WA offices in Belmont, Busselton, and Albany, with a pool car available for use.
Periodic visits to our Support Services office in Sydney NSW are also required.
About you : The successful candidate will have : Tertiary qualifications in health or social care, management or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in community, disability or aged care management or related programComprehensive understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality StandardsComprehensive knowledge of the legislative and regulatory requirements governing home careAbility to work with key financial performance indicators and deliver quality services within budgetExperience with managing and implementing continuous quality improvement systems and projectsDemonstrated experience leading large and geographically dispersed teamsAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding and appreciation of BaptistCare's Christian identity and promote the organisation's values through interactions at workAbout us : We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
