This role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.
Duties and responsibilities may includePersonal care : showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistanceDomestic assistance : light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationSocial support / transportation : social activities, shopping / groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsSupporting clients in the use of aids and personal equipment including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual, or electric hoists, sliding sheets, or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aidsSupporting clients with complex and / or challenging needsMonitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progressParticipating in staff meetings and attending training as requiredWhat you will needMinimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability Services (preferred)Current and satisfactory Criminal Record CheckCurrent and satisfactory Yellow Card & Blue Card and meeting NDIS workers screening check requirements.Current Australian Driver's LicenceReliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is preferred)Smartphone with internet accessWhat we offerFlexible working hours to suit your lifestyleVaried work supporting a diverse range of clienteleAbility to work independently and close to homeStaff recognition programsOngoing support and advice from experienced, friendly, local office staffJob TypeCasualSalary29.00 - $38.00 per hourSchedule :
