Casual Clinical Support Specialist - Western

Due to organic growth of the business in the regions surrounding Bunbury and Busselton we need an additional headcount to support ongoing business growth. We can accomodate a casual employee at this point (with varied hours depending upon your individual needs) and we aim to convert this role to a full time position as business continues to grow within the next 6 months.

• About You
• Degree in Nursing, Allied Health, Paramedicine, Bioengineering / Engineer - Physiotherapist or a related discipline
• Previous operating theatre experience is highly regarded but not necessary
• Ability to absorb, comprehend and present technical information on assigned products
• Outstanding communication, organisational & time management skills
• You will ideally come from one of the following career backgrounds : Physiotherapist, Ortho Scrub / Scout Nurse, Radiology, Biomedical Engineering or similar technical fields, other competitor clinical or sales reps looking to move into advanced robotics.
• About the Responsibilities

This role will give you the opportunity to get up close and personal with the latest in medical technology — ROSA®, our surgical robot. In this challenging role, you will be supporting surgeons in theatre as they perform delicate robotic-assisted surgical procedures.

As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical support, whilst helping to drive utilisation of Zimmer Biomet's range of products alongside our integrated digital platforms including mymobility® and OrthoIntel. Your day to day responsibilities include :

• Providing in-theatre support, assisting surgeons perform life-changing orthopaedic surgeries
• Managing the surgical equipment requirements for each case
• Keeping up to date with new surgical techniques, and delivering training on new iterations of Zimmer Biomet technologies
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders both internal and external, whilst actively seeking out new business opportunities to refer on to the sales team
• Working with the ROSA advanced robotic automated surgical robot.
