- About the role
Make your mark in this newly created role for a Marketing Manager for the Asia-Pacific region. This role will be critical in our plans to grow our footprint across the region. As the world's leading garnet abrasive company we need you to develop and implement marketing events and campaigns that build our GMA brand in our Asia-Pacific locations, particularly Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan.
In this role you will be responsible for :
- Developing our Asia-Pacific regional marketing plan for selected target markets
- Help develop marketing and sales strategic initiatives for trade shows, seminars, technical / demonstration days and help gather leads
- Develop strong working relationships and marketing strategies with distributors and resellers aligned with our brand strategy for our Channel partners
- Work closely with our global and regional marketing teams to develop and execute traditional and digital campaigns
- Work closely with the Australia and Asia based sales team to generate sales leads and develop relevant markets
- Generate continuous improvement ideas and outcomes on how we market our industrial products Support the implementation, roll out and continuous improvement of our CRM system
- What you will need
- Bachelor degree in marketing, advertising or communications
- A minimum of 5 years marketing experience with specific product communications, marketing or digital campaign planning, monitoring and optimisation
- Experience marketing within the Australian and / or Asia-Pacific markets, ideally in industrial marketing or within sectors such as oil & gas, manufacturing, resources or mining
- Experience in both distribution and direct sales channels is preferred
- Experience working across multiple countries and cultures in Asia Pacific will be highly regarded
- Willingness to travel on occasion within Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific region
