Stringers Sports is a family owned and operated business and have been trading in Clayton since 1956.
- We specialise in all of the latest brands that provide high-quality sports and lifestyle shoes including;
ASICS, Brooks, Nike, Puma, New Balance, Adidas and many more!
Our range of mens, womens and junior footwear covers all sports including running, football, soccer, basketball, netball, cross training, hockey, futsal, lawn bowls, tennis, trail running, little athletics, rugby, walking and casual wear. We also stock a wide range of performance running apparel, socks and accessories.
We also offer a full measuring and fitting service in our store by our highly trained staff to ensure that the customers are purchasing the correct shoes for your intended sport.
We have created a fantastic community over our years, with plenty of happy returning customers. Our staff would also say that everyone working at Stringers Sports is part of a happy, productive and family environment and we'd love to add someone to our team of young, driven individuals.
- Day to Day Outline
- Daily picking, keying and wrapping of orders. _We have an extensive range of footwear, clothing and accessories that customers order daily. These orders need to be processed as quickly and error-free as possible to create a great customer experience (via our WooCommerce platform)_.
- Serving customers at our store. _Being friendly, reliable and helpful to our in-store customers._
- Answering telephone enquiries and calling customers when their order is ready in store. _We received many phone calls regarding order updates, stock enquiries and various other store related questions. We also offer click and collect for customers who want to come into the store._
- Unpacking stock and arranging stock to fit inside our storage areas. _We receive stock daily from all brands. We need to unpack and put them in their destined spot to allow for a clean and easy picking experience._
- Updating and adjusting stock on our WooCommerce platform. _Our business required constant change and updates of our stock. Having our stock accurate allows for less mistakes and a better customer experience._
- Maintenance of Customer Claims for faulty products. _Our customers occasionally come to us with faulty claims for their products purchased from our store. We contact the brands that process and assess these claims for the customers._
- Barcoding of Stock. _We need to barcode our stock to ensure customers have the most reliable and up-to-date stock count. _

- Able to work Tuesday, Thursday 9 : 15am - 5 : 15pm & Saturday 9am - 4pm
