About the RoleOur Tours and Marine workshop division at Kingfisher Bay Resort, K'gari, is seeking an experienced Detailer.

The ideal candidate will maintain our fleet vehicles in a clean, tidy, and presentable condition.

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional K'gari exploring experience through well-presented, comfortable, and safe vehicles.This is a permanent part-time position requiring overnight stays at Kingfisher Bay Resort staff accommodation during allocated shifts.

The roster is rotating, covering 7 days per fortnight, with 5 nights spent on the island.

Candidates preferably reside near Hervey Bay and should have flexibility to stay overnight on the island.Key Role RequirementsProvide comprehensive cleaning and detailing services for a rotating fleet of buses and other vehicles, including interior cleaning, vacuuming, and cleaning engines, engine components, and underbody.Handle minor repairs and apply touch-up finishes to remove scratches.Follow all Workplace Health & Safety procedures and practices, complying with legislative requirements.Operate heavy vehicles, including buses and water trucks, as required.Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of experience in auto detailing preferred.Ability to perform physical work for extended periods.Minimum Queensland MR driver's license required or willingness to obtain one.Paint restoration experience is required.The Benefits -conditions applyAnnual $1,000 SeaLink Employee Travel Allowance25% discount at resort dining, bars, retail, and spaEmployee Training ProgramsRecognition ProgramsFree K'gari Explorer ToursAbout UsK'gari is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed island off Australia's Eastern Queensland coast.
