Wisely is seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Workforce Planner in our Mackay office to join our growing Services team. This dynamic role is essential in ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time, ready to deliver high-quality outcomes across our projects.
As the key point of contact for employees within Wisely Services, you’ll be responsible for workforce allocation, mobilisation, and resource planning, working closely with HR, Account Managers, and Training Officers to maintain a job-ready labour pool.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Allocate and mobilise personnel across multiple projects in alignment with client needs and timelines
- Collaborate with HR and Training to ensure employees are compliant, competent, and fully prepared for mobilisation
- Maintain real-time scheduling boards and support project rostering
- Communicate site requirements, inductions, accommodation, and onboarding information to field personnel
- Monitor project resource requirements and proactively resolve issues to ensure uninterrupted delivery
- Produce regular reports and provide status updates to key internal stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Strong planning, coordination, and scheduling skills
- Experience in a fast-paced operational or project support role (ideally in mining, infrastructure, or labour hire)
- High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills
- Understanding of mobilisation compliance, including site inductions, medicals, and statutory requirements
- Tech-savvy with the ability to work across multiple systems (CRU, INTELICS, CMS or similar platforms)
- A team-first mindset with a passion for people and process improvement
