EXECUTIVE CHEF / HEAD CHEF

Brand New refurbished Boutique Property. Asian Style Tapas. Seeking a local chef from a boutique fine dining restaurant.

An exciting opportunity for an executive chef to join the new hotel and put a mark on Perth with this new kitchen and restaurant. The Executive chef will be required to join the hotel sometime in February to help finalise the setup of the menu, staff, kitchen and plan the launch of the restaurant and hotel. This role would suit a head chef or executive chef that knows the local Perth market well and has experience in a variety of boutique fine dining and well regarded Perth establishments. The new restaurant theme will represent “grazing style” platters and dishes from around the world using ingredients and recipes that have become famous around the world over, but with a distinct overtone of Chinese cuisine. We will be known as the restaurant & bar with a social feel for an easy bar snack to go with your cocktail or social gathering with friends sharing good authentic food and fine WA wines. The position will also oversee a small cafe downstairs at the hotel that caters for snacks and simple breakfast, lunch and dinners. This position is an integral part of the new hotel and looking for someone to come in and assist building a team and culture around them.  Putting your stamp on this establishment, developing signature dishes and a simple but effective menu that is fresh and current.
