Our client is a highly regarded and proudly Australian born resources company firmly on the pathway to renewable energy. They have been recently re-invigorated under a new Board and have secured market and external funding to enact plans for careful but rapid growth. As a recipient of a large part of that funding, their CIO is looking to grow the IT Division across multiple positions.
Due to that growth, they are seeking an experienced Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the PMO Manager, the Project Scheduler will be responsible for road mapping and on-time milestones of mainly enterprise data projects across the business.
About the roleAssist in the development and maintenance of project management processes and procedures, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closureProvide administrative support to the PMO Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutesMaintain project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurateCollaborate with project teams to ensure project plans are up-to-date and tasks are completed on timeAssist in the development and maintenance of the PMO project portfolio, ensuring that project information is accurate and up-to-dateMonitor project risks and issues and work with project teams to develop and implement mitigation strategies.Provide support to project teams as required, including setting up project workspaces, tracking project deliverables, and managing project issues and risksAbout youYou will need to be a team-orientated, friendly and engaged individual.
In addition, you will need :
Proven experience in providing administrative support to an IT project management office or project team, ideally in an energy, resources and / or mining environmentHigh level communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team-mates and managers.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectivelyAbility to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships with team members and certain stakeholdersStrong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-dateBenefits for YouYour benefits will include :
