About The Role
We are excited to offer a rare opportunity to join our dynamic, fun, and family-focused multidisciplinary allied health team in Tamworth!
Working in this position will enhance your clinical skills in paediatric communication, as well as offering exciting opportunities to develop both inpatient and outpatient paediatric feeding skills alongside highly experienced and supportive clinicians.
You will also work closely with allied health clinicians in a multidisciplinary team to support rural children and their families. You will have access to an area-wide network of Speech Pathologists who value supporting new staff.

About You
We are looking for a Speech Pathologist who :
Values supporting rural families, with exceptional interpersonal skills and a flexible approach Is able to work in a collaborative and respectful way, demonstrating warmth and compassion Is confident in the value of paediatric speech pathology in a community outpatient context, whilst also valuing the contributions and perspectives of other professions Is committed to partnering with clients and families Is passionate about delivering and improving rural paediatric health services
Requirements
Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
Additional Information
To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia. Employment of a temporary visa holder will only be offered in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa. An eligibility list will be created for future temporary part time vacancies.
