Disability Support Worker

We are seeking passionate and experienced

• to support clients with
• complex behaviours
• This role involves providing direct, person-centred support in line with individual behaviour support plans, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and dignity in all care provided.
• Key Responsibilities
• Support participants with daily living tasks, community engagement, and personal care
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies as per Behaviour Support Plans (BSP)
• Accurately record shift notes and report any incidents or changes in behaviour
• Engage participants in planned indoor and outdoor activities
• Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships
• Work collaboratively with team members, families, and allied health professionals
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to NDIS Code of Conduct
• Essential Requirements
• Minimum 6 months experience working with clients with behavioural needs
• Completion of
• BSP Training
• or willingness to complete before starting
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Valid
• First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
• COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate (if required by client)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel within Stanthorpe region
