Accounts Payable Officer

The Position

An opportunity has become available for an Accounts Payable Officer at a well-established and large organisation. This is a permanent position based in the inner city suburbs with parking available onsite and flexible working hours.

As the successful candidate you will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for supporting the delivery of the full accounts payable process. You will work as part of a thriving team and be responsible for the high-volume accounts payable process.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for working within a high-volume and fast-paced accounts payable team.

Your key responsibilities will include, however are not limited to :

• Processing a high-volume of invoices and credit notes;
• Supplier, credit card and bank reconciliations;
• Reporting and supporting with all EOM activities;
• Investigating any errors or discrepancies in the automated system;
• Ad hoc accounts support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the payables team.
