Legal Aid NSW helps people with their legal problems. Our legal services include legal advice, help at court and family dispute resolution. We can help people across NSW with most areas of criminal law, family law and every day civil law legal issues over the telephone, or at one of our 25 offices or two satellite offices.

We currently have one ongoing full-time Solicitor IV vacancy at our Penrith Office. This role provides senior management and leadership in the provision of family law services to socially and economically disadvantaged people in accordance with the Legal Aid NSW Plan and the Family Law Division Business Plan. This includes directly providing legal services to clients of Legal Aid NSW, including in more complex matters.
We are looking for an experienced solicitor with an ability to undertake and supervise complex litigation in Family Law and Care & Protection law. You also have strong management experience to ensure effective leadership and management of staff within a legal environment.
The Family Law Division have a number of roles where it is a statutory obligation for staff to hold a valid Working With Children Check. If you are successfully placed on the Talent Pool, please note you will be required to provide your Working With Children Check details prior to commencement in any role requiring the check.
