THE ROLE

Applications are sought from experienced fixed plantMechanical Supervisors to join the team at Ora Banda.

The responsibilities of this role will include :

• Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations
• Ensure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level of availability
• Plan and performance maintenance activities within maintenance cost targets
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules, including shutdowns to achieve maximum plant reliability
• Oversee the maintenance schedule and record of maintenance activities
• Assist in the development and implementation of the maintenance safety management plan and maintenance planning systems
• Supervision of maintenance personnel in the performance of their duties
• Close liaison with supply personnel on purchasing and inventory matter
• Close liaison and cooperation with the processing team to ensure optimum equipment performance and availability
• Set clear goals and expectations, provide feedback and address employee performance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain workshop facilities and equipment in good working order
• Assist with the supervision of projects undertaken by the Maintenance Department
• Mentor the development of maintenance personnel
