Your journey towards a fulfilling and impactful career starts here, with Ora Banda Mining.THE ROLEApplications are sought from experienced fixed plantMechanical Supervisors to join the team at Ora Banda.The responsibilities of this role will include : Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulationsEnsure that plant and equipment is maintained to a high level of availabilityPlan and performance maintenance activities within maintenance cost targetsAssist in the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules, including shutdowns to achieve maximum plant reliabilityOversee the maintenance schedule and record of maintenance activitiesAssist in the development and implementation of the maintenance safety management plan and maintenance planning systemsSupervision of maintenance personnel in the performance of their dutiesClose liaison with supply personnel on purchasing and inventory matterClose liaison and cooperation with the processing team to ensure optimum equipment performance and availabilitySet clear goals and expectations, provide feedback and address employee performance issues in a timely manner.Maintain workshop facilities and equipment in good working orderAssist with the supervision of projects undertaken by the Maintenance DepartmentMentor the development of maintenance personnelA full position description will be given to the shortlisted applicants prior to interview.ABOUT YOUTo be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience : Mechanical Trade qualifiedA proven history in supervising / performing high standards of maintenance.Experience in the supervision of mechanical plant and equipment for a gold processing plant.Good organisation skills.Good computer literacy skills (Pronto highly regarded)Working knowledge of obligations under the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.Industry certificates, including; High Risk Work License, Elevated Work Platform, Forklift (LF), WAH and Confined Spaces.A proven history in supervising / performing high standards of maintenanceGood organisation skillCurrent "C" Class Western Australian Drivers LicenceTertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Reliability Engineering desirable.Certificate IV in Leadership and Management (Frontline Management) desirableCertificate IV in Training and Assessment desirableExperience or qualifications in vibration monitoring desirableDual trade qualified desirableYour motivation : We are looking for people who want to make a difference, love to challenge themselves and others to do better and pursue solutions with intent.
