We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Qur'anic & Islamic Studies Teacher to join our committed team. This vital role involves delivering lessons in Qur'an (tajweed), Islamic teachings, Seerah, fiqh, and character development (akhlaq) to students from Reception to Year 6. Apply Now!!! You will help nurture students' Islamic identity and spiritual well-being through age-appropriate pedagogy and meaningful engagement, working alongside educators who value compassion, collaboration, and faith-aligned education.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Qur'anic recitation with correct tajweedDeliver foundational lessons in Islamic Studies, Seerah, and fiqh (Hanafi)Promote Islamic character, values, and moral developmentUse age-appropriate and engaging teaching strategiesCollaborate with colleagues to support a strong Islamic ethos and school community

What We're Looking For

A strong foundation in Islamic Studies and Qur'anic recitation, ideally with Ijaza or relevant Islamic credentialsExperience teaching primary-aged students in Qur'anic and Islamic subjectsA passion for nurturing young hearts and minds in a multicultural, faith-based settingAbility to integrate character education with Islamic values and teachingsCommitment to the Hanafi school of thought and the Islamic ethos of Garden College

Essential Requirements

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (no visa sponsorship)TRB SA registration or eligibility for Special Authority to TeachRelevant teaching qualifications and / or Islamic Studies credentials recognised in AustraliaExperience in Islamic history, Seerah, and Qur'anic educationWWCC, RRHAN-EC certification, and First Aid (HLTAID012)Proficient use of ICT in teachingStrong behaviour management and communication skills
