Randstad are proud to currently be partnering with a large State Government Department in recruiting an AO3 Program Support Officer.
This role is based in the Sunshine Coast. The contract is 12 months with potential for extension.
Your new role :
- Assist in the management of the region's vehicle fleet including servicing and repairs, in vehicle monitoring systems, fringe benefit obligations, logbook compliance, ordering and lease management, vehicle utilisation and other associated duties.
- Fleet car park management
- Basic purchasing and procurement activities including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Coordinate in-house training, travel and resource bookings
- Assist in managing the continuous improvement of operational systems at the local level across the region to ensure effective delivery of business outcomes
- Under direction, coordinate facilities maintenance
- Induction and on-boarding of new employees and contractors
- Phone reception including the answering and accurate allocation of calls from the public and the provision of accurate and relevant information in response to their enquiries.
- Provision of quality service to both internal and external clients and resolve specific issues in an efficient and courteous manner
- Assist with security access management including WH&S requirements (under direction)
- Courier and mail deliveries
- Tender registration
- Maintenance of various registers and databases
- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations
- Actively works to understand customers and stakeholders
- Engages customers in a friendly and appropriate manner
- Shows respect for customers and stakeholders
