About the Role

We’re seeking a Lead or Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in gold or base metals processing (iron ore specialists need not apply). This role suits candidates from either a Design Engineering or Project Engineering background and will involve work on greenfield and brownfield projects across all project phases—from early study and design to commissioning.

You’ll take ownership of your work and play a key role in delivering robust mechanical solutions within a multidisciplinary project team. Ideally, you’ll bring previous site-based experience, and be comfortable engaging with clients during early study stages or working through full lifecycle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver mechanical designs for mineral processing plants including crushing, grinding, leaching, flotation and materials handling systems
• Develop technical documentation : datasheets, specifications, scopes of work
• Perform engineering calculations and contribute to formal design reviews
• Collaborate with process, structural, electrical and drafting teams to ensure integrated solutions
• Support procurement, fabrication and construction activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements
