We're on a journey to raise the standard of care provided to people living with a disability. As a Disability Support Worker, you are employed to provide support to individuals with all levels of disability to enable them to live their best lives.

Person centred care is vital for our clients. Workers will need to understand the true meaning of a person-centred approach.

Although two people may have the same disability, they may have completely different routines and abilities, it is your responsibility to understand and respect each individual and the way they want their support to be delivered while maintaining and promoting their safety and wellbeing.
