About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and experienced support workers with a strong background in assisting individuals with physical disabilities and mental health challenges to join our team in Brisbane's northside.
Qualifications & experience
Certificate III in Individual support or other relevant qualifications is preferred, but not essential.
- Passion for learning and compassion towards people with disabilities
- Extensive experience with mental health and physical disability is highly valued.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
- NDIS workers screening check is required prior to commencement.
- Availability of minimum 2–3 shifts per week, including nights and sleep over shifts.
- Possess an open driver's license and own transportation.
- Experience with manual handling practices is highly desired.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Respond to clients' needs and work collaboratively with their families, support networks, and other stakeholders in their lives.Accurately document activities, progress notes, and incident reports in a timely manner.Implement PBSP strategies when required, with training provided where necessary.Adhere to the NDIS Code of Conduct at all times.Benefits
