Working within a dynamic Taskforce, you will contribute to the delivery of significant whole-of-government cross-border trade reforms, transitioning from discovery and planning to reform delivery.
- Job Description or Duties
- Lead the oversight and coordination of a portfolio of programs.
- Foster stakeholder relationships, collaboration, and communication aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and contribute to executive reporting briefs with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Lead the compliance and auditing of portfolio risks and issues under limited guidance.
- Work closely with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, and project managers to develop scope, deliverables, resources, work plans, budgets, and timing for new initiatives.
- Identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, producing portfolio reports for managers and stakeholders.
- Coordinate multiple projects and handle interdependencies between them.
- Oversee staffing and allocate resources to various programs in collaboration with Human Resources.
- Initiate, monitor, and terminate individual projects, products, and initiatives in accordance with company strategy.
- Report on overall program performance to Senior Executive Staff.
- Mandatory Requirements
- Formal qualifications and / or a minimum of 5 years' experience in portfolio management and governance frameworks.
- Strong digital literacy and proficiency in the use of digital tools.
- Ability to perform, adjust, and excel in a high-performing team and a fast-paced, high-profile environment.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills for conveying complex and technical concepts succinctly.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated initiative, resilience, and the ability to manage competing and changing priorities in a positive work environment.
